செருமன் நாட்டுப் பேராசிரியர்
H.W.Schomerus என்பவர் செருமன் மொழியில் எழுதி, Mary
Law என்பவர் மொழிபெயர்த்து ‘Saiva Siddanta’ என ஒரு நூல்
ஆங்கிலத்தில் வெளிவந்துள்ளது. அதில் அந்தச் செருமன் ஆசிரியர் இவ்வாறு சொல்கிறார்.
‘‘Unlike most works, The Agamas do not emphasis the supremacy of the
Brahmins so the Brahmins
may well have opposed them, and certainly did see to it that
they were not widely known.
Many Agamas disappeared either being destroyed or not copied and
circulated. (p.7)
