He is a student of Prof. Kamil V.Zvelebil,
an eminent Tamil scholar from Czech Republic.
Professor. Jaroslav Vacek continues his work when Prof. Kamil
V.Zvelebil took political refuge in France some 30 years.
Prof. Jaroslav Vacek is a linguist with a very good knowledge of Tamil
Sangam litterature.
He has also mastered Altaic (Mongolian) languages.
Having done a comparative linguistic studies, between Tamil and
Mongolian languages,
he demonstrates the similarities between them.
He is of the view that Mongolians would have descended in the Indus
Valley civilization.
Thus another reason to prove the presence of proto-Dravidian languages
in the Indus Valley.

the need to more research on Tamil litterature and the need to
preserve Tamil,
a truly surviving classical language.
